WACO, Texas - Three Baylor men's tennis players will take part in the 2014 Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championships, starting on Monday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Okla.

Julian Lenz and Diego Galeano will compete in the singles main draw beginning on Thursday, while Felipe Rios gets the action started for BU on Monday by facing Florida's Elliott Orkin in the first round of the 128-man qualifying draw at 2 p.m. Orkin is the draw's No. 16 seed and is No. 68 in the rankings. The Bears will not have any doubles teams in action.

Rios has a 2-0 record on the year, after opening the season at the Rice Fall Invitational. He will need to win three matches in a row to be one of 16 qualifiers to advance into the main draw.

Lenz, the country's top ranked player, went 5-1 at the Napa Valley 50k Challenger over the past week, advancing to the quarterfinals of the USTA event. The junior was named the 2014 ITA Player to Watch after finishing No. 4 in the ITA National Singles Rankings last year. He advanced to the ITA All-American semifinals in Tulsa last year, falling to eventual champion Mitchell Frank of Virginia.

Thursday's match will be the season opener for Galeano, who posted a 29-13 record last season and is currently ranked No. 26. The senior was 1-1 in the qualifying draw of last year's event.

Singles quarterfinalists, doubles finalists and consolation champions will receive an automatic entry into the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships on Nov. 7-10, held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, NY.
