THE RUNDOWN LAWRENCE, Kan. - Baylor tried to recapture some of its magic from a comeback win over Iowa State, Oct. 25, but the Kansas Jayhawks held off a third-set rally from the Bears to win 25-10, 25-14, 25-23 at the Horejsi Center Wednesday night.
Kansas had just four attacking errors through the first two sets holding Baylor to just nine kills in the opening two frames to key in victory. Baylor was able to take the lead twice in the third set, but Kansas' 3-0 run after the score was tied at 17 apiece, eventually sealed the Bears' fate. BU had comeback from down two sets to none in a win over the Cyclones but was unable to force a fourth set.
