THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. - Baylor finished competition in the Sherwood Collegiate Cup on Sunday in Thousand Oaks, Calif., as Mate Zsiga and Kike Grangeiro fell in the main draw doubles semifinals.
Grangeiro, a senior, and Zsiga, a freshman, lost to second-seeded Yannick Hanfmann and Steve Johnson at the Sherwood Country Club, 8-2.
After losing in singles main draw first-round action, Grangeiro began play in the consolation bracket. He advanced through to the semifinals where he lost to UCLA's Marcus Giron, 6-4, 6-3.
The only other action on Sunday for the Bears were backdraw matches. Freshmen Lars Behlen, Krickovic and Zsiga all won their Sunday backdraw matches in straight sets.
