Final UNLV Spring Invitational Results in PDF Format 
BOULDER CITY, Nev. - Behind its lowest team score of the tournament, Baylor women's golf finished seventh Wednesday at the UNLV Spring Invitational.
Baylor shot 3-over 291 during Wednesday's final round, bettering Tuesday's score by 16 strokes. For the second straight day, No. 25 Pepperdine provided the field with the lowest score of the round. The Waves claimed the UNLV Spring Invitational title by 14 strokes at 20-under (295-278-281=844). BYU finished second at 6-under (280-285-293=858), followed by No. 24 Oklahoma in third at 1-under (282-292-289=863).
Pepperdine's Danielle Kang and BYU's Kelsey Vines shared individual medalist honors, finishing at 10-under 206. Cothran enjoyed a career day during Wednesday's final round, carding a career-low 3-under 69. Terry bested her previous career-low score with an even-par 72 in the final round.
"We finally relaxed and just played our game Wednesday," head coach Sylvia Ferdon said. "I am proud of the way our team responded to the challenge by beating the teams we needed to beat to keep our NCAA Regional bid alive."
Lene Hafsten-Morch, who entered the final round tied for 25th, shot a 76 to finish tied for 34th overall at 9-over (72-77-76=225). Fellow senior Jordan Rhodes tied for 40th at 11-over (77-75-75=227), while individual Kristen Hendrix shot 21-over (77-78-82=237) to tied for 60th.
"I was also extremely pleased by the play of freshman Kaylin Terry, who played to an even-par in the final round and Chelsey (Cothran) for shooting a 69. It was an overall great team effort," Ferdon said.
Jaclyn Jansen rounded out the field, tying for 69th overall at 23-over (81-83-75=239).
Baylor will host the first of two home events March 22 with a dual match against Kent State at Ridgewood Country Club.
