WACO - The 10th annual Varsity Equestrian National Championships will make its return to Waco, as Baylor and the Extraco Events Center host for the fifth consecutive season.

The championships will begin on Thursday, April 14 and continue through Saturday, April 17. The event is open and admission is free to the public.

Varsity equestrian is divided into two areas: hunter seat and western. Each of the two divisions has a 12-team seeded bracket similar to that of the NCAA basketball championships. Teams are seeded from one through 12 and placed accordingly into the bracket. This season, however, the individual brackets have been done away with and All-Americans will be honored on Wednesday, April 13.
