The Baylor equestrian team (5-4) will host a pair of competitions, facing Delaware State on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. and No. 6 South Carolina (2-3) on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Willis Family Equestrian Center.

"We have had a couple months off so it will be nice to start the spring schedule off at home," head coach Ellen White said. "I think we have worked hard over the break and are excited to get started again."

The Bears defeated DSU, 10-5, in Waco on Sept. 24, 2010. Baylor wrapped up the fall season with a 12-6 win on Nov. 19.

The Gamecocks will compete at Texas A&M on Friday before heading north to Waco for competitions against Delaware State and Baylor. USC will enter the weekend on a three-match losing streak to end the fall.
