Seminole Intercollegiate First Round Results in PDF Format 
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Baylor men's golf sophomore Lorenzo Scotto fired a season-low 69 and is tied for second overall Friday after the first round of the Seminole Intercollegiate at Southwood Golf Course.
Scotto, North Texas' Rodolfo Cazaubon, Troy's Justin Eaves and Florida State's Drew Kittleson and Seath Lauer are all tied for second at 2-under. North Carolina's Jack Fields leads the field by three strokes after an opening-round 5-under 66.
Friday was Scotto's fifth sub-par round of the season and his third during the first round in eight tournaments. Ten shots behind leader and host Florida State (6-under 278), Baylor is tied with South Carolina for third place at 4-over 288. North Carolina is second overall at 1-over 285.
Five shots separate third-place Baylor and South Carolina from ninth-place Arkansas (9-over 293). Freshman Ryan O'Rear led the Bears with five birdies Friday, while Scotto, Joakim Mikkelsen and Payne Gniewek each carded four sub-par holes. Mikkelsen is six shots back of the leader in a tie for 13th at even-par 71. Gniewek is tied for 22nd overall after a first-round 1-over 72, while O'Rear is tied for 46th at 5-over 76.
Austin Berkovsky is tied for 70th at 11-over 82.
