BAYLOR-UT ARLINGTON SERIES HISTORY
Baylor and UT Arlington meet for the 102nd and 103rd times this week. This is the eighth most-played series in Baylor baseball history; Baylor has played more games against UTA than against any other program that was not a Southwest Conference member. In fact, the Bears have played more games against UTA since the series began Feb. 26, 1973, than against any other program except Texas (115), Texas A&M (113) and Texas Tech (111).
The Bears hold a 73-28 advantage in the all-time series, including a 29-16 edge in games played at Arlington and a 44-12 lead in games played in Waco. Baylor has won each of the last nine meetings and is 27-8 against the Mavericks during head coach Steve Smith's tenure.
BAYLOR vs. THE SOUTHLAND CONFERENCE
Baylor is 295-127-1 all-time against programs currently playing as Southland Conference members, including a 2-1 mark this season. The Bears were 8-1 against the SLC last season, falling only to regular-season league champion UTSA. Baylor has played more games against current Southland members than any conference other than the Big 12.
DICKERSON NAMED BIG 12 PLAYER OF THE WEEK
1B Dustin Dickerson was named Big 12 Conference Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday. Dickerson is the third Baylor player so honored this season, joining Aaron Miller (March 9) and Shaver Hansen (last week).
Dickerson earned Big 12 Player of the Week honors for the first time in his career. He did so after going 12-for-20 in five games last week with four multiple-hit outings. He hit safely in each game, extending his career-long hitting streak to 19 games. That ranks as the longest hitting streak in the Big 12 this season and ties for the seventh-longest in Baylor history. Dickerson also has hit safely in 14 consecutive Big 12 games and in 20 of 21 league contests dating back to last season.
A product of Waco's Midway High School, Dickerson had three doubles, a home run, three RBI and eight runs scored on the week. His biggest hit was a bases-loaded, walk-off single in the bottom of the 11th in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against Missouri. Dickerson followed that with a 4-for-4 outing in the nightcap; he had a double, a homer and four runs scored in that game. He was 8-for-13 in the Missouri series.
Dickerson's game-winning hit against Missouri was his second walk-off hit of the season. He also had a game-winning, two-run single in the top of the ninth last weekend at Kansas. The McGregor, Texas, native leads the Bears and ranks fifth in the Big 12 with a .379 batting average. Dickerson has not seen his batting average drop below .339 since his fourth at bat of the season.

• Baylor has seven last-at-bat victories this season, the most by a Baylor team since the 2005 squad had 12.

• Hansen is hitting .421 (16-for-38) with runners in scoring position and .432 (16-for-37) with two outs. He is 6-for-7 with two outs over the last six games and leads the team with 16 two-out RBI this year, eight of which have come in the last six games.
