AUSTIN, Texas - The Baylor men's golf team will look to rebound from last week's 11th-place finish at the NIT when the Bears head south to Texas' capital city for the 43rd annual Morris Williams Intercollegiate. The two-day, 54-hole tournament hosted by the University of Texas will take place Monday and Tuesday, March 30-31, at the 7,412-yard, par 71 University of Texas Golf Club.

Two rounds of 18 holes will played on Monday, followed by the final 18 on Tuesday. Baylor is one of 18 teams in the tournament field that includes Air Force, Arkansas, BYU, New Mexico, New Mexico State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Pepperdine, Rice, SMU, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Tulsa, UNLV and USC.

Texas won the 2008 Morris Williams Intercollegiate crowd, while Texas' Bobby Hudson took home individual medalist honors after shooting a 5-under 208 last season.

Baylor's lineup will feature one change from last week as junior college transfer Peter Fallon replaces redshirt freshman Lorenzo Scotto in the rotation. In Fallon's only other tournament as a Baylor Bear, he shot a 25-over 241 to finish tied for 80th at the Border Olympics two weeks ago. Fallon will be joined by senior Bill Allcorn, sophomore Cody Paladino and freshmen Joakim Mikkelsen and Morten Bergan.

Last week at the NIT, Paladino was Baylor's highest finisher with a 4-over 220 and a 27th-place showing. Mikkelsen and Bergan finished tied for 35th overall at 6-over 222, followed by Allcorn at 10-over 226 in 56th place. Baylor has finished in the top five in six of its nine tournaments this season, including wins at the Shoal Creek Intercollegiate (Sept. 23), Hartford Hawks Invitational (Sept. 30) and the Border Olympics (March 14).

Mikkelsen leads the team with a 72.54 stroke average through 26 rounds, followed by junior Colton Williams at 72.64. Paladino currently ranks third with a 72.77 stroke average, while Allcorn is fourth at 73.03. Mikkelsen and Paladino are tied for the team lead with 13 rounds of par or better. Paladino and Allcorn have each posted a team-best four top 10 finishes this season.

Live scoring will be available via Golfstat.com. Following the conclusion of each day, complete Baylor team and individual results will be posted on BaylorBears.com.
