WACO, Texas (AP) - Senior Curtis Jerrells scored 24 of his game-high 29 points in the second half, as Baylor used a late run to beat Colorado 75-57 in front of 7,192 fans on Saturday.

Colorado led 52-50 before a 3-pointer by Jerrells sparked the 25-5 run that put the game away. Jerrells, who tied the Baylor career record held by Doug Brandt with his 108th start, scored 11 during the spurt.

LaceDarius Dunn scored 10 for Baylor (17-11, 5-9 Big 12), including two 3-point field goals that pushed his season total to 76. Dunn's total is good for the sixth-best single-season mark in school history.

Cory Higgins scored 20 and Dwight Thorne had 12 for Colorado (9-19, 1-13).

Baylor held a 26-24 lead at intermission. BU's first-half point total was its second-lowest this season (24 vs. Texas on Jan. 27), while the Bears managed to make a season-low-tying nine field goals.

Saturday's crowd of 7,192 set a new single-season Ferrell Center attendance record of 119,486, surpassing last season's mark of 116,015.

Baylor returns to the hardwood Monday, March 2, when the Bears travel to Austin to face the Texas Longhorns at the Frank Erwin Center. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. CT on ESPN's Big Monday with Ron Franklin (pxp), Fran Fraschilla (color) and Holly Rowe (sideline).
