MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
• Baylor and Texas met for the 99th time Saturday, the third-most played rivalry in Baylor football history behind TCU and Texas A&M (105 meetings each).
• Texas leads the all-time series 72-23-4, and the Longhorns have won the last 11 meetings since a 23-21 Baylor victory Nov. 1, 1997, in Waco.
• Baylor is 14-29-2 all-time vs. Texas in Waco.
• Baylor has allowed 40 or more points to Texas in 10 of the last 11 series meetings.
• Baylor's 40 first-half points allowed to Texas are the most the series since Sept. 25, 1999, when the Longhorns scored 42 first-half points en route to a 62-0 win in Waco.
• Saturday's crowd of 44,372 was only the fourth crowd of 44,000-plus at Floyd Casey Stadium in the Big 12 era (Texas A&M in 1996, 2006 and Texas in 2005, 2009).

• Baylor's six rushing yards are a season low (BU held to six yards rushing vs. Oklahoma).

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
• LB Joe Pawelek started his 43rd consecutive game, the longest streak by a Baylor player since Maurice Lane's school-record, 45-game streak that ran from 2002 to 2005.
• RG James Barnard, FS Jordan Lake and C J.D. Walton all started their 34th consecutive games.
• LB Antonio Jones started his 22nd consecutive game.
• WR David Gettis started his 18th consecutive game.
• IR Kendall Wright has caught at least one pass in each game of his career, a 22-game streak.
• Wright has eight games with at least four receptions this season.
• Wright broke into the school's single-season top 10 list for receptions. His 57 receptions rank sixth all-time at Baylor.
• Wright now ranks 12th all-time at Baylor with 1,303 career receiving yards.
• TE Justin Akers has caught at least one pass in 13 consecutive games.
• LB Earl Patin established career high with eight tackles.
• Pawelek moved into 22nd place on the NCAA FBS career tackles list (401).
• Pawelek has seven-plus tackles in 20 of his last 22 games.
• P Derek Epperson moved into an eighth-place tie with Ty Atteberry (1993-96) at Baylor in career punting yards (6,844).
• With three punts of 50 yards or more, Epperson now has 37 career 50-plus-yard punts which rank seventh in school history. Epperson trails Ed Marsh and Buzzy Sawyer by one punt for fifth place.
• KOR Terrance Williams broke into the school's single-season top 10 list for kickoff return yards. He passed Mikail Baker for the ninth-most single-season total with 535 KOR yards.
• RB Jay Finley moved into a tie for 21st place all-time at Baylor with 1,346 career rushing yards.
