LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) - Danielle Wilson's competitive savvy is growing and No. 5 Baylor is the benefactor.

The junior had 17 points and a career-high 17 rebounds to lead the Lady Bears to a 76-64 victory over Texas Tech on Saturday, giving the Lady Bears their 11th straight win.

At one point, Baylor coach Kim Mulkey said, it looked like Wilson was close to pinning a Tech player's shot against the glass.

"You don't teach that," Mulkey said. "You just have the instincts and the ability to do it. She was big for us in altering shots, big for us in blocking shots. You saw the new Danielle. She's a different kid than she has been the first two years."

It was Wilson's ninth double-double in the past 12 games.

"I just know I have to help my team any way possible, especially on the road," said Wilson, who blocked five shots. "It's a combination of maturing and knowing the system."

Jessica Morrow added 15 points for the Lady Bears.

Baylor (17-1, 5-0 Big 12) built its biggest lead of the game, 72-56, with under 3 minutes left. The Lady Raiders scored six quick points, but by then it was too late.

The Lady Bears shot a season-high 88.5 percent (23-of-26) from the free throw line.

"I thought the foul line was important," Mulkey said. "We didn't miss many free throws."

Maria Moore scored a career-high 22 points and Kierra Mallard added 12 points to lead the Lady Raiders (11-7, 2-3), who have lost three of their last four games.

Texas Tech fell behind early in the first half, failing to score a basket for more than 7 minutes. Down 30-15, the Lady Raiders scored on all but one of their next 11 possessions. They closed the half on a 20-8 run and trailed Baylor 38-35 at halftime.

But the Lady Bears started the second half with a 15-2 run to lead 53-37, and Tech tried to play catch up the rest of the game.

"The ballgame was lost on our end at the beginning of the first half and the second half, and I have no answers for that," Texas Tech coach Kristy Curry said. "Our energy level has got to get better."

Baylor held Tech's leading scorer, Dominic Seals, a couple of points below her average (13.9). After a first half with 11 points, Seals didn't score the rest of the way.

"I'd like to tell you it was great coaching strategy," Mulkey said. "It wasn't. ... Danielle was able to stay with her."
