The Baylor men's golf team shot 288 in Saturday's second round to finish day two in a tie for seventh place overall at the ASU Thunderbird Invitational at the Karsten Course.
Arizona State leads the overall competition with a score of 558 after 36 holes. New Mexico's Kyle Nielsen is the low individual at 6-under par. Baylor is tied for seventh with Arizona at 579, just three shots out of sixth place.
Cody Paladino was the top performer for Baylor on Saturday, shooting a 5-under par 66 to finish the second round at 1-under par in a tie for ninth place overall. On Friday Paladino carded 75 to finish the first day at 4-over par.
After shooting 3-under par in the first round, Jeff Gerlich carded a 74 on Saturday to finish the second day at even-par in a tie for 14th place. Bill Allcorn, who shot even-par 71 on Friday, recorded a 2-over par 73 on Saturday and sits in a tie for 21st place overall.
Wes Williams shot 75 on Saturday to finish the second round at 10-over par in a tie for 66th place overall. Colton Williams shot 76 on Saturday after carding a 6-over par 77 on Friday. He is tied for 74th place overall at 11-over par.
