MISCELLANEOUS NOTES

  • Tweety Carter did not dress for the third straight game (coach's decision), but is expected to play against Jacksonville (Nov. 24).
  • Baylor is 33-5 in the Drew Era when scoring 80-plus points.
  • Over the past six seasons Baylor is 90-9 when totaling an equal or higher shooting percentage than its opponents.

TEAM NOTES

  • With Baylor holding a 9-8 lead at the 15:46 mark in the first half, the Bears went on an 18-1 run over the next 4:17 to make the score 27-9.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES

  • Quincy Acy made 5-of-5 field goal attempts. He set a new Big 12 record with 18 straight made baskets, besting Texas A&M's DeAndre Jordan's previous mark of 17 in a row. He is now 18-for-18 in his career.
  • Acy also scored in double-figures for the third-straight game, and led the team in scoring for the first time in his career.
  • Henry Dugat nearly recorded the third triple-double in Baylor history with 13 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists. The rebounds and assists were both career highs.
  • With 13 points, Curtis Jerrells moves into ninth place all-time at Baylor, passing Willie Sublett, David Wesley and Vinnie Johnson.
  • Jerrells made 5 of 8 field goals against Southern and has made 12 of his last 17 attempts.
  • LaceDarius Dunn tied a season high with 6 rebounds.
