MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
• Today's attendance of 8,360 pushed the season attendace mark to 110,383, setting a new all-time Ferrell Center total attendace record (men's or women's). The old record of 109,494 was set during the 2001-02 season.
• Texas leads the all-time series 52-18, but Baylor currently enjoys a three-game win streak and has claimed victory in four of the last five outings against the Longhorns.
• Baylor will return to action on Wednesday, Feb. 21 when the Lady Bears travel to face Colorado at 8:00 p.m. That game will be televised on FSNRM.
• The contest saw the score tied six times with four lead changes.
TEAM NOTES
• With seven blocked shots in today's game, Baylor set a new single-season record for blocked shots with 209 (204 in 2002-03). The Lady Bears move into third place on the all-time Big 12 list for team blocked shots in a season (232, Texas Tech in 2004-05; 227, Texas Tech 2002-03).
• Baylor entered the game leading the nation with 7.7 blocks per game (as of Feb. 11). The Bears blocked seven shots today, and are averaging 9.6 blocks in their last three games (11 vs. Iowa State; 11 vs. Oklahoma State).
• The Lady Bears made 5-of-9 three pointers (.556), while Texas went 0-for-11 from beyond the arc (.000).
• Baylor is 141-12 under Mulkey when scoring 70 or more points. In 2006-07, the Lady Bears are 18-0 when scoring more than 70 points.
• The Lady Bears held a commanding 25-14 advantage in points off turnovers.
• Baylor edged Texas 42-40 on the boards. The Lady Bears are now 16-1 overall, and 6-0 in the Big 12, when outrebounding an opponent.
PLAYER NOTES
• Angela Tisdale recorded two assists, which moves her into sixth place on the Baylor all-time list.
• Freshman Danielle Wilson blocked one shot in today's game. She now has 75 blocks on the season, and needs just one more to set a new BU single-season record (76, Carol Reeves Brandenburg).
• Wilson also needs just five more blocks to move into ninth place on the Baylor career list (80, Danielle Cockrom `98-02)
• After going 1-for-1 from three-point range, Bernice Mosby has now made her last three treys (2-for-2 vs. Iowa State 02-10-07). Prior to the ISU game, Mosby was just 3-for-15 (.200) from beyond the arc.
• Freshman Latara Darrett scored 17 points today, one point away from her career-high. In Baylor's first meeting with Texas, Darrett scored 16 points.
