On Bernice Mosby:
"We did better against Mosby this time than the first time we played. But anytime you give a team 20 points from the line you're at a disadvantage."

On Texas' disadvantage:
"For the most part it was a competitive ball game. This team has had some issues with putting themselves at a disadvantage. Against Ohio State we shut ourselves out of it and this one we fouled ourselves out of it."

Baylor head coach Kim Mulkey
On Depth:
"We're coming of age every game. I'm not hesitant to put any of our rotation of players in early or at anytime."

On gaining momentum:
"I hope we're gaining momentum at the right time but I don't know. We are gaining experience though, the type of experience you need to win championships."

On the UT run to start the second half:
"At the timeout I used it to stop their momentum. You gotta look at them and put it back in their lap. I can put them in the right positions but they are the ones playing."

On the 3-way tie for first:
"If you had asked me that at the beginning of the year I would have asked you if you've seen our roster? I'm very proud of them. There is no way I could have told you that at the start of the year."
