What are your ambitions for the future?
Eventually I would like to be the head coach of a big time school and be a contender for the national championship title. My goal for right now is to learn as much as I can learn from the people around me. I am very fortunate to work with some of the finest people in the business and just being part of the Baylor tennis program is an honor and a great learning experience for me.

What is your greatest sport memory?
I have had some great moments, but I think reaching the 3rd round of the Australian Open in doubles is definitely a highlight. Another highlight was playing Martina Navratilova and Todd Woodbridge on a sold-out Wimbledon centre court. My partner and I lost 9-7 in the third set, but it was an amazing experience.

What is the most positive thing you have seen from your team this year?
This team works so hard. It really is amazing to see. The other great thing about this team is that they all accept each other for who they are. They might not always agree with each other, but in the end, they all respect each other. I think a lot of people can learn from that.

What has been the team's biggest challenge been so far?
Since we are not in season yet, I would say their biggest challenge is finishing their workouts. The workouts are really tough, but they know it is going to physically and mentally make them stronger, so they push themselves and each other very hard.

The season is approaching, how do you get the team prepared?
One of the most important aspects for a collegiate tennis player is to be in shape. We work very hard on that. On top of that, we get them ready for competition by competing a lot in practice and by telling them that the most important match of the season is the upcoming match. Every match is important. If you want to go all the way, you have got to be ready for every single match and every single opponent.
