WACO, Texas - The Baylor Lady Bear basketball team, after adding three more nationally televised games, will appear on television during the regular season a school-record 11 times it was announced on Tuesday. Prior to the upcoming season, Baylor's previous regular season high for televised games was eight in both the 2004-05 and 2005-06 seasons.

The Lady Bears had previously announced an eight-game televised schedule, seven Fox Sports Network appearances and one ESPN2 broadcast, and now three more games have been added to the slate. CSTV will air two games, a Jan. 16 game versus Kansas in Waco, and a Jan. 30 game against Texas in Waco. In addition, the Baylor-Texas matchup in Austin, Texas, on Feb. 13 will be aired by ESPNU.

To accommodate the television broadcasts, two game times were changed. The Kansas- Baylor contest (Jan.16) has been changed to 6 p.m., while Baylor's game at Texas (Jan. 30) will begin at 8 p.m.

"It is very beneficial any time a program has an opportunity to play on national television. We are certainly appreciative and welcome it, the more households we can get into, the more people know about Baylor women's basketball," said head coach Kim Mulkey.
