Ryan Baca Misses Cut at U.S. Open

MAMARONECK, N.Y. - Baylor golfer Ryan Baca (Richmond, Texas) shot a second-round 83 and will miss the cut in his first major appearance at the 106th U.S. Open Friday at the 7,264-yard, par-70 Winged Foot Golf Club.
On Thursday, Baca opened the tournament with an 8-over par 78 and will finish with a total of 21-over 161.
Baylor teammate Will McDonald (Birmingham, Ala.) served as caddy for Baca.
