The Baylor men's golf team returns to action at The Aggie Invitational Saturday and Sunday, April 15-16, at The Traditions Golf Club in Bryan, Texas.
The Bears are looking to rebound from their worst showing of the season as they finished 14th two weeks ago at the Morris Williams Intercollegiate in Austin. Baylor had finished no lower than fourth prior to that and had four victories and two runner-ups.
Head coach Greg Priest will go with the same lineup for the third straight week with senior Ryan Baca, juniors Jeremy Alcorn, Jeremy Frye and Colton Turnquist and sophomore Wes Williams. Baca, Alcorn, Frye and Williams have started each tournament this year. Baca leads the Bears and is on record-setting pace with a 70.26 stroke average, while Alcorn ranks second at 72.15.
The tournament will be the final tuneup for the Bears before the Big 12 Championships April 24-25 at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Okla.
