*The long jump will begin at the conclusion of the triple jump. Field Events will have prelims and finals. Women will follow men in all field events except for pole vault, hammer and shot put. **Open competitors will be allowed in the pole vault with verification of 16-0 or better vault.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Please note:
- Only 4x100 and 4x440 yard relays will be run
- There will be a hammer event - men and women's
ENTRIES/DECLARATION

All teams must FAX or E-MAIL THEIR ENTRIES. The fax number is 254-710-1369 (alternate fax number is 254-710-3052). The e-mail address is Russell_Reneau@Baylor.edu. Please use the entry sheets which are enclosed. When you send your sheets, they will be used as both your entries and declarations. If you need more sheets, please copy the ones which we have enclosed. We will only use this entry sheet for heat and lane purposes. The DEADLINE is Tuesday, March 21, 2006. All teams not faxing or e-mailing will not be drawn into competition.
ENTRY FEES
An entry fee of $125 per team in each division will again be charged to help defray expenses. Please make all checks payable to Baylor University Athletic Department. You may pay when picking up your team packet. Packets will be located at the infield tent.
TEAM CHECK-IN
Coaches may pick up their packets and pay entry fees at the track complex on Friday (March 24) between 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm or Saturday (March 25) between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm.
* Each team will be provided 4 passes. Additional passes can be purchased from
Coach Ford.
HEAT SHEETS
Heat sheets will be in your packets at check-in. Final results will be available approximately 30 minutes following the meet and can be accessed via the Internet at www.baylorbears.com the official website of Baylor Athletics.
ATHLETE CHECK-IN
Running event athletes must check in thirty minutes prior to their scheduled event at the pre-clerk area. Field event athletes must check in 45 minutes prior to the start of their event at the event site.
IMPLEMENT WEIGH-IN
All implements may be turned in at 7:30 am Saturday, or from 4:00 to 5:00 pm Friday. Any implements not weighed in prior to one hour before event time, will not be allowed in the competition. Implements will be impounded and brought to each respective event. The weigh-in area is located inside the metal building at the pole vault area.
SPECIAL MEET RULES
1) No radios or portable stereos will be allowed in the Track & Field
Complex
2) Coaches are asked to remain off of the infield when possible
3) No umbrellas, tents or tarps are allowed in the grandstands. Tents
may be placed outside the fenced area only.
4) Long Jump runway is 132'
DRESSING
There are no dressing facilities at the track stadium.
AWARDS
The top three places in each event will receive awards. Pick-up awards in building located near the shot put.
TIME SCHEDULE
A tentative time schedule is enclosed. Running events follow a rolling schedule.
RESULTS
Final results will be e-mailed to each school's office of athletic media relations. Results will not be faxed to the track offices of participating schools. Results can also be accessed via the Internet at www.baylorbears.com the official website of Baylor Athletics. Results should be posted no more than one hour after the conclusion of the final event.
