WACO, Texas - The No. 9 Baylor men's tennis team will host No. 33 Kentucky this Friday, Feb. 24 at the Baylor Tennis Center. The match is set to begin at 2 p.m.

Baylor is 4-3 overall this season and 1-1 at home. The Kentucky match is the only home break in a 12- match road streak. The Bears have not played at home since their Jan. 29 loss to then-No.1 Florida. After Friday, they will not play another match at home until March 25 when they will take on SMU.

After going 2-1 last weekend at the USTA/ITA Team Indoors, the Bears are now ranked No. 9 nationally in the Fila Collegiate Tennis Rankings released today by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).

After a six-match home streak, Kentucky will travel to Waco this weekend with their lowest ranking this year falling from No. 19 to No. 33 in the latest polls. In individual rankings, the Wildcat's Bruno Agostinelli earned a No. 63 ranking and also earned the No. 53 doubles ranking paired with teammate Marcus Smith.

Baylor also received some nods in individual singles and doubles rankings. Lars Poerschke dropped a few places from his preseason No.1 ranking but is still among the top five holding the No. 4 position. Michal Kokta also earned a ranking from the ITA coming in at No. 53. Close behind, teammate Matija Zgaga is ranked for the first time this season at No. 56.

In doubles, Baylor holds two top- 20 spots with Jon Reckewey and Zgaga ranked at No. 6 and the team of Kokta and Will Ward ranked at No. 18.
