WACO, Texas - Baylor men's tennis' Michal Kokta was ranked No. 2 in singles and the doubles team of Denes Lukacs and Dominik Mueller received the No. 3 spot in the South Central Regional rankings released Friday by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. Five Baylor men received spots in the top 20 and two doubles teams were ranked in the top 5.

Mueller and Lukacs, both freshmen, were ranked No. 5 and 6, respectively in singles while junior Lars Poerschke is listed at No. 11 and sophomore Matt Brown is No. 17. In doubles, David Galic and Brown were ranked No. 5.

Other schools included in the South Central rankings were Texas, Texas A&M, SMU, TCU, Rice, Texas A&M- Corpus Christi, Texas-San Antonio, Texas-Arlington, Louisiana-Lafayette and Texas Tech.

National rankings, both team and individual, will be released on January 9.
