TULSA, Okla. - Baylor's men's tennis players, Michal Kokta and David Galic, finished competition in the Polo Ralph Lauren Men's All-American Tennis Championships, hosted by the University of Tulsa, in Tulsa, Okla., on Friday.
Kokta, a senior, bowed out of the consolation bracket with a second round loss to Notre Dame's Stephen Bass 7-6(5), 6-3.
Kokta and David Galic advanced to the quarterfinal round of the doubles consolation bracket with a walk-over win over Oklahoma State's Daniel and Nathan Byrnes. In quarterfinal action, the BU tandem lost to Oklahoma's Federico Chavarria and Marek Velicka 8-5.
Next action for the Bears will come on Fri., Oct. 13 at the Midland Invitatonal and the Mansfield Futures.
