WACO, Texas - Baylor men's tennis is sending three players to compete in the Texas Invitational at the Penick-Allison Tennis Center in Austin, Texas, Oct. 27-29. Traveling to Austin for the Bears are Matt Brown, David Galic and Denes Lukacs.
The tournament will feature a 48-player singles draw, a singles consolation bracket and a 24-team doubles draw. Singles play begins at 9 a.m. on Friday; Saturday's action begins at 8:30 a.m. with doubles play. Friday's action features three rounds of singles play and one doubles round. The tournament field will play one doubles round and two singles rounds on Saturday, and the championship matches will be contested on Sunday.
Joining Baylor and the Longhorns will be student-athletes from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Lamar, Texas-San Antonio, Texas-Arlington, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, and St. Edwards.
