HEAD COACH Kim Mulkey-Robertson
"What a ball game. In this league it comes down to one or two shots. As a coach you are never happy about a loss; but, after a game like that, where you spill your guts on the floor, you say that maybe one of these day you will make that shot. I thought a rebound here or there or a shot here or there would have won the game."
On Moore's last second shot:
"I tried to get a timeout. If you are going lose, she would definitely be the one I would want taking the shot."
On Courtney Paris:
"Its hard to guard Courtney down there one on one and I thought we did a good job; but, she still had a double double."
SENIOR Sophia Young:
"They are a pretty good team and they were pretty physical especially down low. We tried to match their physical intensity."
On Abiola Wabara's play:
"I think Abby did a very good job. Courtney (Paris) and Abby are two very strong people."
JUNIOR Chameka Scott
"We had a home winning streak and I thought is was a game of runs. It was a hard fought game that was decided by a big play at the end."
On the final shot:
"Some people just got mixed up on who they were guarding and we wanted Moore to take that shot. We were begging her to take it all night and she stepped up and made it."
