MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
• The announced attendance was 9,703.
• During the contest, there were six lead changes as the score was tied 12 times. Baylor's largest advantage was 10 points with 12:00 left in the first half while Oklahoma's largest lead came with 7:26 left in the second half when the Sooners held a five-point lead.
• Baylor will return to action on Wednesday, January 25, when the Lady Bears travel to Ames, Iowa, to face Iowa State at 7:00 p.m.
TEAM NOTES
• The loss snapped Baylor's home winning streak of 26-straight games dating back to a 62-59 loss to Texas Tech on Feb. 8, 2004. Baylor is now 78-11 all-time at home under head coach Kim Mulkey-Robertson.
• Baylor went with a starting line-up of Jessica Morrow, Abiola Wabara, Sophia Young, Angela Tisdale and Chameka Scott for the second time this season.
• With the loss, Baylor falls to 8-15 all-time against Oklahoma as the defeat snapped a four-game Lady Bears winning streak against the Sooners.
• Baylor led 35-31 at the half. Prior to tonight's loss, Baylor had won 27-straight games while leading at the half dating back to a 69-55 loss at Texas on Feb. 22, 2005.
• For the second consecutive contest, Baylor was held to zero points from off the bench.
• Baylor was out-rebounded for only the fourth time this season. The Lady Bears are now 2-2 on the year when getting out-rebounded by their opponent.
• Oklahoma shot 48.3% (28-of-58) on the night as the Sooners shot the highest percentage of any Baylor opponent this season and it marked only the third time this year the Lady Bears have allowed their opponent to shoot over 40 percent from the field.
• With 15 steals, Baylor recorded 10-plus steals for the 10th time this season.
INDIVIDUAL NOTES
• Sophia Young scored 18 points on the night, pushing her career total to 2,080. Young ranks sixth all-time in Big 12 Conference career scoring and is now 45 points shy of LaNeishea Caufield of Oklahoma (2,125 points) for fifth on the conference career scoring list.
• With 18 points, Young has scored in double figures in 62 consecutive games and has scored in double figures in 113 of 122 career games.
• With two blocks, Young moved into third on Baylor's career chart, moving past Maggie Davis-Stinnett (119, 1986-89, 1990-91) with 121 for her career. Young is now 20 blocks shy of Kacy Moffitt (141) for second all-time.
• The start for Young tonight was the 109th of her career, moving her past LaToya Ellis (1995-99) for the most starts in school history.
• Young led the Lady Bears in scoring with 18 points as four Baylor players reached double figures. Angela Tisdale (16), Chameka Scott (15) and Abiola Wabara (13) also reached double figures for Baylor on the night.
• Angela Tisdale recorded eight assists in the loss to lead the way for the Lady Bears. The sophomore guard has recorded at least five assists in 10 of 12 games this season.
