Thoughts on tonight's match:
"I was pleased. I thought we were professional. Everybody did a nice job getting into their match. The other thing that was pleasing was I felt we hit a lot of winners, we weren't just out there waiting around for something to happen. We were making things happen, which is what we talked about going into the match.

"We wanted to set the tone for the tournament, come out and be the aggressors and play our game. I felt like every single guy did that."

On tomorrow's match vs. Texas:
"It is always fun to play them, they are a big rival of ours in the conference. More than that, though, it is a second-round match in the NCAA Tournament, which is pretty significant. It's an elimination draw and we have to be ready to go. They had a great win today and I'm sure they'll be really confidant and come after us."

Prairie View A&M head coach John Cochran:
On Baylor's performance:
"They have a very strong team. They are in very good shape and they are well coached. We gave them everything we had, they were just better today."

On what can be learned from this match that can help your team next season:
"We were able to play at their level for a minute. They are the best team in the nation, and not many teams can say they have faced the best team in the nation. We enjoyed the journey."

On his team's performance vs. Baylor:
"We played the best that we possibly could have, all we can do is continue to get better and perform to the best of are capabilities.

Final thoughts on the season:
"This season has been filled with nothing but positives. We have some things we need to work on, mainly our conditioning and techniques. We also have six players returning, so if we are able to add one or two players that would be a bonus. Next season we will get back in the fall and get right back at it."
