Norman, Oklahoma - The No. 14 Baylor women's tennis team defeated Oklahoma on the road today 7-0 ensuring them at least a tie for the Big 12 title. Now 10-0 in conference play, the Bears are leading the Big 12 with Texas following closely with a 9-1 record.

The Bears dominated the Sooners today picking up a win in every match-up. The Bears started off by sweeping all three doubles positions. Zuzana Cerna and Daniela Covello picked up the first win putting away OU's Jessica Braver and Irina Lykina 8-3.

Carolin Walter and Caroline Korsawe won in number two doubles and Zuzana Krchnakova and Klara Zrustova also picked up a win to complete the doubles sweep.

In singles play, the Bears continued to dominate taking wins in all six positions. Iva Mihaylova started things off defeating the Sooner's Amanda Pratzel 6-3, 6-0. Carolin Walter clenched the match for the Bears winning the number two spot against Heather Saluri in a three-set match 2-6, 6-2, 6-0.

The Bear's Covello, Cerna, Zrustova, and Krchnakova also picked up singles wins.

With this win, the Bears increase to 19-4 on the season, 10-0 in conference.

The Bears will stay in Oklahoma and take on Oklahoma State Saturday at 11 a.m. in Stillwater for the chance to win the Big 12 Title outright.
