WACO, Texas - For the second straight match, the top-ranked Baylor men's tennis team swept its opponent as the Bears handed No. 39 TCU its ninth loss of the season 7-0 at the Baylor Tennis Facility on Tuesday. The Bears improve to 18-0, 4-0 in conference.

The Bears got on the board early by taking the doubles point from the Horned Frogs by taking all-three doubles matches. The fifth-ranked duo of Benedikt Dorsch and Matija Zgaga defeated the No. 13-ranked tandem of Rafael Abreu and Fabrizio Sestini of TCU 8-5 to clinch the doubles point.

The Bears continued to dominate as they took the court in singles action. Zgaga brought in the first singles point for Baylor on the fifth court. He defeated Radu Barbu of TCU in straight sets 6-2, 6-2 to take the point.

Last week's Big 12 Player of the Week and No. 1-ranked Dorsch improved to 2-0 on the No. 2 court for Baylor by handing Jacobo Tezza the loss 6-2, 6-0. Dorsch, who usually plays at the No. 1 position for Baylor, switched with fellow senior No. 49 Benjamin Becker for tonight's match.

Senior Greg Shearer earned the win on the No. 6 court for the Bears Tuesday. The senior transfer has been in-and-out of the lineup all season, but has won his last two matches and is 8-5 overall this season.

The Bears return to action Saturday as they host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. Match time is set for 6 p.m. at the Baylor Tennis Facility.
