WACO, Texas - The Baylor women's tennis team posted two conference wins today defeating Missouri and Iowa State 7-0. Due to impending inclement weather, the matches were played at the indoor tennis center in Fort Worth.

After moving the matches to Fort Worth, the Bears came out strong against Missouri defeating them in all six singles match-ups. Missouri defaulted the doubles point giving Baylor the 7-0 victory.

After an hour break, the Bears took on the Iowa State Cyclones. Winning three straight doubles matches, the streak continued as the Bears took all six singles matches to defeat Iowa State 7-0.

With the wins, Baylor improves to 14-3 on the season and 5-0 in conference play. Missouri falls to 12-3, 2-2 and Iowa State is now 1-7, 0-6.

The Bears will return to action Saturday, April 2 as they take on Kansas in Waco at the Baylor Tennis Center at 1 p.m.
