Waco, Texas - The 17th ranked Baylor women's tennis team looks to improve their 11-2 record this weekend when they face Vanderbilt and Kansas State at the Baylor Tennis Center. The Lady Bears are on a win-streak of ten matches and look to coninue their unbeaten record at home.
The Lady Bears face a tough 1:00 p.m. match on Saturday, March 19 against No. 5 Vanderbilt. The 12-2 Commodores are coming off of their first conference loss in the SEC and the Lady Bears are coming off of a victory versus No. 62 Iowa. Baylor is looking to improve their non-conference record before heading into six consecutive Big 12 matches.
The following day, Baylor has a noon match versus Kansas State at the Baylor Tennis Center. The Lady Bears are 8-3 all-time against the Wildcats and 5-0 in Waco. The Wildcats come to Texas on a two game losing skid and The Lady Bears look to continue their winning streak.
Baylor women open up play this weekend on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. against No.5 Vanderbilt, and their match versus the Wildcats is scheduled for noon on Sunday.
