Fort Worth, Texas - The No. 24 Baylor Women's Tennis Team picked up a win today upsetting the undefeated No. 14 TCU Horned Frogs 5-2 in Fort Worth at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.

The Bears put an end to TCU's 6-0 winning streak and have started a winning streak of their own with this third straight win over ranked opponents.

Baylor came out strong in doubles when the team of Daniela Covello and Zuzana Zemenova upset No.27 ranked Ana Cetnik and Story Tweedie-Yates 8-5. TCU took the next doubles match leaving the point up to Baylor's Iva Mihaylova and Zuzana Krchnakova who defeated Paige Brown and Andrea Morgado 8-6 to clench the doubles point for Baylor.

In singles, Krchnakova easily knocked off TCU's Morgado 6-1, 6-1 to earn Baylor's second point. Klara Zrustova followed with a win over Kewa Nichols 6-1, 6-4 to put the Bear's up 3-0. Covello clenched the win for Baylor earning the 4th point by defeating Cetnik in a three-set match 3-6, 6-4, 6-0.

#57 Zemenova not only upset a higher ranked doubles team but also defeated #10 Tweedie-Yates in singles play making the final score 5-2.

Baylor returns with back-to-back action this weekend taking on No. 62 Florida International Friday, February 25 with a 1 p.m. match and UT-Arlington Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Baylor Tennis Center.
