WACO, Texas - The No. 25 Baylor Women's Tennis Team will travel to Fort Worth tomorrow to face the No. 14 Texas Christian University Horned Frogs at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center. The match is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
The Bears are coming off of a 4-3 win over No. 38 Pepperdine Saturday making their season record 3-2. Baylor hopes to put an end to TCU's winning streak. The Frogs are undefeated with a 6-0 record , their best spring start since 1984.
TCU will offer a challenge in both singles and doubles with Story Tweedie-Yates ranked at No. 14 and Helena Besovic at No. 25. In doubles, two TCU teams hold rankings. Besovic and Karla Mancinas hold down the No. 34 spot while Tweedie-Yates and Kewa Nichols are ranked No. 59.
Baylor holds its share of ranked players with Carolin Walter at #43 and Zuzana Cerna at #92 in singles. Cerna and Daniela Covello hold down the #9 ranking for doubles.
