WACO, Texas - Men's tennis retained its No. 1 rank Tuesday as ITA announced its rankings for the second time in 2005.
The Bears have started the 2005 season strong, continuing their winning ways. Baylor has won 26-consecutive matches, a school record, and has won 32 Big 12 matches in a row. The next national ranking will be released February 15.
Baylor faces perhaps its toughest challenge thus far into the 2004-05 season this week. The Bears host No. 8 USC Thursday at the Baylor Tennis Center. Action is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
