Men's Golf Heads to Albuquerque,

WACO, Texas - Baylor's men's golf team will continue its fall season by playing in the 50th Annual William H. Tucker Invitational on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 1-2, at the University of New Mexico Championship Golf Course in Albuquerque, N.M.

The tournament boasts a competitive 19-team field that includes Baylor, Arkansas, Air Force, Arizona, BYU, Colorado state, Fresno State, Hawaii, Nevada-Reno, New Mexico State, San Diego State, Texas A&M, UNLV, UTEP, North Carolina, Texas Tech, Colorado, Wichita State and host New Mexico.

The format of the Invitational consists of 54 holes beginning with two 18-hole rounds Friday and a final round Saturday.

The University of New Mexico Championship Course is a 7,350-yard, par 72 course situated in Albuquerque.

The Bears finished 16th last year at this tournament and have finished in the top 15 in 11 of their last regular season tournaments.

In Baylor's last outing of the fall, the Bears finished 3rd in the Baylor Invitational at Bear Ridge Golf Course in Waco. Sophomore Jeremy Alcorn led the team with a second place finish individually.
