The Baylor men's golf team travels to San Juan, Puerto Rico, this weekend to play in the Hyatt/Puerto Rico Intercollegiate Sunday through Tuesday at the Dorado Beach Golf Club.
The Bears are coming off a second-place showing at the UTSA Roadrunner Intercollegiate earlier this week, the team's highest finish under first-year head coach Greg Priest.
Junior Ryan Baca captured individual medalist honors at the tourament with a final-round 67 for his third career victory. Freshman Jeremy Alcorn continued his outstanding rookie campaign by tying for seventh to notch his first career Top-10 finish.

Baylor is making its first appearance at the Hyatt/Puerto Rico Intercollegiate.
Hat Trick for Baca Junior Ryan Baca captured his third career individual title at the UTSA Roadrunner Intercollegiate earlier this week...Baca fired a season-low 67 in the final round to win the championship...He has shot even-par or better in six of his last nine rounds and leads the team with a 72.80 stroke average (71.00 in the spring).
Fab Freshmen
Two Bear freshmen have made an immediate impact in their first seasons...Jeremy Frye is second on the team with a 73.76 stroke average, while Jeremy Alcorn is third with a 74.66 stroke average and recorded his first career Top-10 finish by tying for seventh at the UTSA Roadrunner Intercollegiate in his last outing.

Looking Ahead
Baylor will return to action at the Morris Williams Invitational Monday and Tuesday, March 15-16 hosted by Texas at Austin Country Club in Austin...The Bears are making their second straight appearance at the event, finishing ninth in 2003.
