Waco, Texas - Due to winter weather in Waco, the men's tennis team played its first Big 12 match against Colorado in Ennis, Texas at an indoor facility. The Bears easily defeated the Buffalos 7-0.
In doubles play, the Bears mixed and matched teams to come up with winning combinations. The team of Matija Zgaga and Reiner Neurohr overcame Marcos Digliodo and Chad Tzuda an 8-5 at the No. 1 spot, while Benedikt Dorsch and Ivor Lovrak made quick work of Marko Bundalo and Evan Dixon 8-3 in the No. 2 spot. Rounding out doubles play Jason Gould and Matias Marin completed the sweep defeating Marek Dvorak and Peter Bjork 8-1.
In singles competition, the Bears went on to dominate Colorado winning all six matches. This extends Zgaga's win streak to 12 and the Bears overall to 5-1.
