ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Lars Poerschke lost his consolation-finals match at the ITA National Indoor Championships Sunday at the Varsity Tennis Center on the University of Michigan campus.

Poerschke competed strong over the weekend. He lost his first match to Matic Omerzel of Georgia 7-6, 6-3 in the first round, but played strong moving through the consolation bracket to the finals match.

Sunday, Poerschke fell short of winning his second tournament by falling to KC Corkery of Stanford 3-6, 4-6. Overall, Poerschke went 4-2 on the weekend.

The national indoor completes Baylor's 2004 fall schedule. Action resumes in January as the Bears travel to the Sherwood Classic in Thousand Oaks, Calif.
