The Baylor men's golf team travels to Louisiana to compete in the University Club Intercollegiate hosted by LSU Monday and Tuesday at the Duke Golf Club in Durham, N.C.

The Bears are coming off a 6th place finish at the Coca-Cola Duke Golf Classic at the Duke Golf Club in Durham, N.C.

Sophomore Jeremy Alcorn, was the top individual finisher for the Bears. He fired a four under par 68 in the second round in route to a tie for seventh place. With this finish Alcorn recorded his second top-10 finish of the year. Another sophomore, Jeremy Frye shot consistantly throughout the tournament shooting rounds of 75, 72 and 73, to finish in a tie for 13th.

Jeremy Frye [Sophomore]: Tied for 13th at the Duke Golf Classic with a score of 220 (75-72-73=220)...Tied for 33rd with a score of 225 (69-77-79) at the Pepperdine Club Glove Intercollegiate...Was the Bears' top finisher with a score of 211 (71-71-69) to tie for fifth at the William H. Dusty Isabell [Sophomore]: Tied for 54th with a score of 234 (80-78-76=234) at the Pepperdine Club Glove Intercollegiate his last time out...Tied for 37th with a score of 230 (78-77-75) at the Baylor Invitational...Fired a career low 69 in the first round of the Baylor Invitational.

Brian Meck [Sophomore]: Tied for 5snd with a score of 233 (77-80-76=233) in his last outing at the Pepperdine Club Glove Intercollegiate...Tied for 23rd with a score of 223 (75-76-72=223) at the Baylor Invitational.

Sophomores Wild
Baylor has started at least four sophomores in each tournament, and have twice started five...Jeremy Alcorn and Jeremy Fyre have each recorded a Top-5 finish this year to start the season... Alcorn finished second at the Baylor Invitational shooting three consecutive rounds of 70 finishing 6-under par... while Jeremy Frye followed two opening rounds of 71 with a three under par 69 in the final round of the William H. Tucker to finish finish tied for fifth... Two other sophomores have each recorded Top-10 finishes this year as well... Matt Briggs finished tied for 8th at the Baylor Invitational this year, and Dusty Isabell competed as an individual at the Baylor Invitational and finished tied for fifth.
