WACO, Texas - Baylor's men's golf team will conclude its regular season by traveling to the Big 12 Championship on Monday and Tuesday, April 28 and 29, at the Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Okla.
Baylor, Colorado, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas, Texas A&M and Texas Tech will all compete for the 2003 title.
Currently Baylor, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Texas are all top-50 ranked teams, according to Golfstat.com.
The format of the Invitational consists of 54 holes beginning with two 18-hole rounds Monday beginning at 8:00 a.m., and a final round Tuesday. Baylor will tee off at 8:50 with Texas A&M and Kansas State on the first tee.
Prairie Dunes is a 7,016-yard, par 70 golf course.
The Bears won the conference championship by 10 strokes two years ago. Texas is the defending champion after edging Oklahoma State by one stroke last year.
Baylor is led by sophomore Ryan Baca. He ranks second in the conference with a 71.25 stroke average through 28 rounds this season.
In Baylor's last outing of the fall, the Bears finished third of 20 teams at the 52nd Border Olympics in Laredo. They were lead by Baca who finished second individually.
