Women's Tennis Advances to No. 42 in Rankings

According to the latest team rankings released Wednesday by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), Baylor Women's tennis moved up a spot to No. 42, while Men's tennis stayed at No. 4.

The women's tennis team with a current record of 3-6 moved up in the rankings this week to the No. 42 spot. After falling to then ranked No. 26 Arizona (6-1) and then No. 58 Florida State University (4-3), Baylor will now face No. 43 Missouri for their third conference match of the season on Saturday, March 8 at 10 a.m. at their home courts.

As Big 12's highest ranked team, the Bears hold a current record of 11-1 after sweeping Middle Tennessee State University 7-0. Baylor's next men's tennis match will be at Nebraska on Friday, March 7 at 1 p.m. facing Nebraska for their second conference match of the season. The Bears will then face No. 9 Kentucky on the road Sunday, March 9 at 3 p.m.
