WACO, Texas - While the rest of the tennis team has been disqualified Benedikt Dorsch continues defending his No. 1 ITA ranking. Dorsch won his third straight match in the ITA Championships, defeating Johan Berg of South California 6-4, 7-5. His next match will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11, against Jeremy Wurtzman of Ohio State.
Benjamin Becker also played today, but was defeated by Washington's No. 4 seed Alex Vlaski, 7-5, 6-2. The duo of Becker and Dorsch competed in the first round of the doubles tournament but could not overcome KC Corkey and James Pade of Stanford losing 8-6.
