ENNIS, Texas - The Baylor men's tennis team defeated UT-Pan American and UT-San Antonio on Tuesday in Ennis, Texas. After postponing and moving the dual matches from Waco to indoor courts due to rain, the Bears won 16 of the 17 matches played.

Baylor, currently ranked No. 13 now moves to 4-0 on the season. The Bears came out strong against their first competitor, UT-Pan Am, winning every doubles and singles match. Against their second opponent, UTSA, the men's tennis team came out strong by winning their first doubles match. After dropping their second doubles match, the Bears responded by sweeping their opponents 6-0 in singles play.

In doubles play, the Bears teams of Hornung/McGregor, Becker/Garcia, and Marin/Carrascosa claimed the doubles point after knocking out UT-Pan Am, 3-0. Against UTSA, the doubles point was earned by duos Becker/Marin, and Hornung/Carrascosa.

No. 3 Benjamin Becker, No. 25 Markus Hornung, Matias Marin, Nathan McGregor, Mike Garcia and Armando Carrascosa went undefeated in Singles matches against both teams.

Baylor continues play on Saturday, Feb. 16 here at the Baylor Tennis Center against UL-Lafayette. Matches will begin at 2 p.m.
