WACO, TEXAS - Six Baylor women's tennis players will be participating in the Omni Hotels Southwest Championships which begin on Friday and run through Monday. The tournament is hosted by TCU at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

Vida Mulec, who is currently ranked No.94 nationally, will be entering the tournament seeded No. 6 in singles while teammate Stephanie Balzert will be ranked No.17. Daria Potapova, Barbora Blahutiakova, Izabella Mijic, and Alison Bradely will also be competing in singles action.

In doubles action the team of Mulec/Balzert will enter doubles play seeded No. 9 in the tournament. Other Lady Bears in action will be Potapova/Mijic, and Blahutiakova/Bradley
