Dorsch Remains Perfect at Icy Hot/ ITA Championships

No. 26 Zoltan Papp defeated David Lingman of Harvard, 6-4, 6-2 in the first round. Other players advancing to the next round of play were Benedikt Dorsch who defeated Thomas Haug of Minnesota by a score of 2-6, 6-4, 6-1, No. 80 Matias Marin who swept past Ohio State's Vince Ng, 6-1, 6-1, and No. 3 Benjamin Becker who knocked off Manuel Kost of Oregon, 5-7 6-4, 6-2.

Ivor Lovrak fell today in the round of 64 against Mississippi's Paul Ciorascu, 6-4, 6-3. This will place him in the consolation bracket where he will face Georgia's Nik Boeker.

The next round of play will begin tomorrow morning. Papp will face South Florida's Paco Antelo, Dorsch will go head-to-head against Todd Widom of Miami, Marin will try and sweep past Auburn's Rameez Junaid and Becker will be pit against Phil Stolt from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
