WACO, Texas - According to the latest team rankings released Wednesday by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), the Baylor men's tennis team moved up three spots to No. 13 in the country, while the women's team slipped one spot to No. 21.

Matt Knoll's men's team, currently 1-0 on the season, is the Big 12's highest ranked team. They defeated then-No. 13 Mississippi State last week by a score of 4-3. The men will travel to Dallas on Saturday (Feb. 2) to play No. 8 SMU.

The women's team dropped a spot despite winning their first two matches of the season. The Bears beat Middle Tennessee (4-3) and Rice (5-2) last week.
