Carrascosa Bows Out of US Open

Baylor freshman Armando Carrascosa and his partner, Derrick Bauer, lost their first round junior doubles tennis match at the US Open on Tuesday and were eliminated from the tournament.
Carrascosa and Bauer lost to the USA team of Stephen Amritraj and K.C. Corkery, 6-2, 6-3. The loss concluded two days of competition at the US Open for Carrascosa. He lost to Travis Rettenmaier, 6-4, 6-3, in junior boys singles on Monday.
