Men's Golfers Head To Wolverine Invitational

WACO, Texas - Baylor's men's golf team will travel to Ann Arbor, Mich. Friday to compete in the Wolverine Invitational.

The Wolverine Invitational will be held at The University of Michigan Golf Course in Ann Arbor. The Bears tee off at 9:40 a.m. Friday on the 6,700-yard, 71-par course.

In addition to host Michigan, the 20-team field includes, Air Force, Akron, Ball State, Baylor, Eastern Michigan, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisville, Miami (Ohio), Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Northwestern, Notre Dame, West Florida, Western Kentucky, Wisconsin and Xavier.

Competition begins with 36 holes on Friday and concludes with 18 holes on Sunday.

The teams were originally scheduled to play the final round on Saturday, but will now play the final round on Sunday due to the change in Michigan's football schedule. Round One begins at 9 a.m. Friday and Round Three at 8 a.m. Sunday.

On Saturday, each team will be provided with complimentary game tickets and parking passes to watch Michigan host the University of Illinois. Baylor will look to improve from its seventh place (15 teams) finish from almost three weeks ago when the team played at South Carolina.
