WACO, Texas - Baylor women's tennis coach Dave Luedtke announced his team's fall 2001 schedule Thursday.

The Baylor women will participate in six tournaments this fall, highlighted by the 2001 Riviera Women's All-American Championships, the ITA Southwest Championships, and the ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships.

In 2000, senior all-American Jahnavi Parekh advanced to the singles quarterfinals of the All-American in October, and teammate Katja Kovac topped that by taking the title at the ITA Southwest Regional in November. Her success at that tournament earned Kovac ITA National Player of the Month honors.

The Bears will look to duplicate such successes as the team returns in the fall. Six of the eight players from a year ago return for the 2001-2002 season.
